Reliable Motorcycles models for our tours in Vietnam & Laos
I believe in reliability of my motorcycles (of-course) as every trip, regardless of the duration, needs a ready to go bike. You may see scratches and pale side panel on a bike you ride, but i can promise ONE BIG THING we have it and that is, the motorbike you ride in any of our tour, with a reliable engine, gearbox, brakes and safety checked. The fleets consists of the XR series (150, 190 cc), CRF 250 & 300L, CB500x, BMW GS and the Triumph tiger GT Explore 1200. All 2023 and higher models.
BMW GS 1250
The BMW GS runs a 1,254cc ShiftCam boxer engine producing 136 hp and 143 Nm of torque, with Telelever and Paralever suspension, cornering ABS Pro, and five riding modes covering everything from Ha Giang switchbacks to long coastal highway runs.
Shaft drive, a 20-litre tank, and an adjustable seat keep multi-day expeditions practical and comfortable across Vietnam’s full range of terrain.
Honda CB500X
The Honda CB500X runs a 471cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin producing 47 hp and 43 Nm of torque, with a 19-inch front wheel, dual-disc ABS, and an 830mm seat height that makes it for long Trans-Vietnam rides.
At 197 kg with a 17.5-litre tank, it’s light enough to handle tight mountain roads and efficient enough to cover serious distance without constant fuel stops.
Honda CRF250 / 300L
The Honda CRF 250L/300L is a lightweight, off-road-capable single-cylinder trail bike built for Vietnam’s rougher terrain, from remote single tracks in the north to steep mountain passes where agility matters more than outright speed.
The 250 and 300 sharing almost the same power, making both a reliable choice for riders who want a nimble, confidence-inspiring bike on technical off-road routes across Vietnam, specially the motorbike tours in north Vietnam
Honda XR 150 & 190L
The Honda XR150L and XR190 are air-cooled single-cylinder trail bikes built for Vietnam’s rural backroads and lighter off-road dirt tracks, delivering 12 hp and 15 hp respectively across a power band that suits beginners and experienced riders equally well.
Both are lightweight, fuel-efficient, and simple to maintain on multi-day routes through the Central Highlands or Northern mountain trails. The 150 is a carburetor model while the 190 is the fuel injection with newer look.
Triumph Tiger GT Explorer
The Triumph Tiger 1200 GT Explorer runs an 1160cc triple-cylinder engine producing around 150 hp and 130 Nm of torque, paired with a 30-litre tank that covers serious distance between stops on Ho Chi Minh Trail.
Full-colour TFT display, cornering ABS, and multiple riding modes including off-road settings give it the electronics to match its long-haul capability.
For riders who want a premium, touring-focused machine with the range and refinement to handle a full week across Vietnam without compromise, the Tiger 1200 GT Explorer is the strongest option in its class.
Ride the best motorcycles
If it’s an adventure, then it needs a special motorcycle. The iconic brands i own and rent for m motorbike tours include, Honda, Triumph, BMW and sometimes the Royal Enfield, however, we take our standards high and we replace motorcycles when their time is coming.
Nothing should gets past you, that’s what i tell my mechanic all the time.
I don’t compromise safety, i keep the bikes in good shape, all the time, if a tyre gets flat, i replace it, i don’t let a few extra bucks ruin the trip and waste our time in the middle of a road.
