After attending a conference in Tehran, I have decided to use the services of HamidReza as a cultural tour guide for a short trip to Kashan, Abyaneh and Esfahan. It was a very good idea. HamidReza is an expert in joining together cultural aspects of Iranian cities (mosques, palaces, traditional villages which are part of UNESCO heritage) with aspects connected to daily life of Iranians (walks through districts of ESfahan or short tours to rural area in beautiful mountain region). Moreover, he can guide a group with just a few words so as to have contacts with local people without any risk of offending them (due to different local customs as compared to Western countries). I highly recommend his services for anyone who wants to find the connection between past and present-day life in Iran ( a very clean and friendly country, with urban safety at the same level with well-known cities in Russia and United Kingdom).

we certainly did have fun, not only for girls but only girls that i was going with! you'll be glad to hear that we also managed to keep mostly out of trouble, Hamid showed us his country with enthusiasm, knowledge and a well planned itinerary. More than just a travel guide he was the perfect travel companion who was also able to give valuable insight into Iranian culture. My one regret is only allowing 8 days to explore this amazing country.
